Rovaniemi - the 'Official' home of Santa

Perched on the edge of the Arctic Circle and one of Lapland’s largest towns, and certainly one of their most beautiful. Full of attraction for tourists looking to get a taste of the stunning wilderness that the northern Finnish region has to offer.

Sami culture has had a significant influence on the town, with many of the local traditions and activities deriving from Sami culture. The local people speak Finnish, though many also speak English and Swedish.
